ReplyDeleteFirst of all, casually telling the kid u bullied that his crush turns into a dog (and hes afraid of dogs too) isn't something to believe rit at the moment, it will seem like he has really lost it and he's trying to make it hard for him. So I doubt Jin will believe his bully.

ReplyDeleteThis is probably out of nowhere theory but, what if Mr. Jin is a reincarnation of the dog spirit. He's afraid of dogs because of his past life that he was killed while being a dog and somehow after being reincarnated into human he just developed a a feeling of being scared of a dog because of his past life trauma.
ReplyDeleteThe dog spirit was being cherished by the white tiger aka Bogum, and looking at how Bogum was always looking after Mr. Jin and trying to protect him (the bullying incident) from all harm. He was also so determined on helping both Jin and Haena to hook up. Probably he feel guilty towards Haena's family because he take out his anger on her entire family generations because of 1 bad ancestors that killed his cherished friend.
Looking at how Haena's family still exist in the modern era, despite all the trouble and heartbreak, they still manage to find 1 good partner that could accept them for who they are. So why did Bogum particularly so interested in helping these two to hook up is probably because now the dog is reincarnated into human and it was Jin, and probably that's the only way to break the entire curse for Haena's family so the next generation wouldn't have these curse anymore.
Anyway, ty so much for the translation. I've read it first in Line Webtoon, until I can't wait any longer then I've searched it up and stumble into your blog. Ty again for doing this.
